RALEIGH YOUTH CHOIR EXPLOSION!

The Raleigh Youth Choir hosts its annual Elementary School Festival featuring young singers with Raleigh Youth Choir Artistic Team Jeremy Tucker, Amy Davis, Aaron Brown, Bo Reece, and Katie O’Neil. Two choirs(one for boys and one for girls) will rehearse and workshop with their respective clinicians and come together to present a concert at 3:00pm on Saturday, October 7, 2023. This concert is open to the Raleigh community!

Friday, October 6, 2023 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm
& Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10:00am – 4:00pm

Located at Ligon Magnet Middle School – 706 E Lenoir St, Raleigh, NC 27601

No audition required!

1 CEU credit hour available.

Student registration fee is $40 and includes workshops, t-shirt, lunch and the concert. (Festival registration is included in Raleigh Youth Choir Tuition.)

If your singer has food allergies, please send them with a lunch they can eat.

Teacher Registration Instructions:

  • Teacher sends this Singer Registration Form to student’s parent or guardian. They fill it out online and submit it with payment. Teacher will get an email that your singer has registered and paid. A parent invitation letter (available to download as a PDF file, which includes the link to the Singer Registration Form, is also available to send home with students.
  • Teacher orders the music from JW Pepper by clicking HERE for the Girls Music and HERE for the Boys Music. Music is purchased separately and not included in the student festival registration fee.
  • Teachers must accompany their students or send a principal-approved designee/chaperone.
  • Familiarity with the pieces in advance is strongly recommended.
  • Teachers click here to download rehearsal tracks for your singers.
  • Teacher shares the link HERE with parents, and other interested parties, for free tickets to the Saturday performance. Tickets are first come, first served.
