Compete to win cash prizes in the 2025 RYC's Got Talent Competition!

 

Three categories:

Elementary (Current K-5th)

Middle (Current 6-8th)

High School (Current 8-12th)

Prizes for Each Category:

1st Place Winners: $100 cash prize and award

2nd Place Winners: $75 cash prize and certificate

3rd Place Winners: $50 cash prize and certificate

(Elementary Division - $100 for 1st place,

$75 for two runner-ups)

​

Competition Details:

​

- RYC's Got Talent is ONLY open to singers currently enrolled in the Raleigh Youth Choir

​

- Singers must prepare a vocal music selection, with or without accompaniment, no more than five minutes in length

​

- Submissions can be solo acts or small groups of no more than 4 members

​

- Singers can submit a solo submission in addition to a small group

​

- Link to the video must be accessible to RYC staff (no private links or links that require “sharing permissions”, unlisted YouTube videos are fine) - links that do not work will not be considered

​

Finalists need to be available to perform in person on March 25th and April 11th

 

The competition will take place through three rounds:

 

Virtual Submission Round - Due by, Monday, February 24th

Online voting through RYC website will decide the finalists

 

In-Person Final Round at CGS (Tuesday, March 25th)

A panel of judges will decide the top 3 finalists in each category

An accompanist/backing track will be needed for the in-person final round

 

The top 3 finalists from each category will perform at the RYC Gala (April 11th)

​

Awards for each category will be given at the event

An accompanist will be provided for this round

One parent comp ticket to the gala will be available for every finalist
